Latin/Scientific & Common Names
The names we use to describe our fish are from books by Ad Konnings and from the website Cichlid Forum.com. Once again, if there is anything that you are unclear on, or require additional information about, please make use of the request form.
Stock Quality
- WC = Wild Caught
- F1 = first generation from wild caught fish
- F2 = second generation from wild caught fish
- TR = tank raised fish that are line bred for quality
Comments/Notes
This section gives you a bit more information about the species. It is an added selling feature of our fish!
Availability
First check the UPDATED ON date at the top of the inventory list. Do this because inventory is a dynamic piece of information that begins changing the second the list is generated. If the date is not today's date (and it almost NEVER is!) then the information on the list cannot be considered accurate. The lower the availability indicator (see below), and the longer it has been since the update was done, the greater the risk that the fish you're interested in is no longer in stock. If you are planning to make a special trip to the store, I would recommend calling to confirm first, or suggest using the request form.

Sizes
This is one of the big differences between Finatics and our competition!
Our sizes are true sizes! You will never be disappointed in the size of our fish! If we say that a fish is 3” that means all of those fish are a minimum of 3”. I've been on the receiving end of fish purchases where the product didn't “measure up” to the promise, and I won't put anyone else through it! I aim for customer satisfaction!

All prices listed are based upon single fish purchases.

Shipping
Local shipping within Ontario can be arranged. Shipping fees will vary depending on the amount of the purchase and where it has to be shipped to. We have our own drivers and can accommodate most orders easily.
